When I’m not teaching
Since graduating from UNC Chapel Hill in 2023, I’ve stayed active throughout the Triangle’s music community. I perform in multiple bands, record orchestral ensembles, produce and engineer projects for other artists, and run sound at local venues.
My band
The Hourglass Kids is a project I’ve been writing, singing, drumming, and producing with since 2019. We released our first studio album in 2024 and have since been performing across the Triangle, with shows at venues like Cat’s Cradle, The Pinhook, Lincoln Theatre, and many others.
My music video
“The Camel” is a song I wrote for my band in 2024, which I later expanded into a full creative project by writing, directing, and acting in its music video. It was easily the most fun, rewarding, and difficult project I’ve ever taken on. I’m very proud of my friends who helped make it happen. 😊
Recording and production
In addition to my own music, I record, produce, and engineer a variety of projects. These range from classical ensembles to indie rock and everything in between
